We Are Recruiting: Night Auditor (M/F) – QDL Residences

As part of the development of this exciting new project, we are looking for a Night Auditor to join the QDL Residences team, ensuring exceptional guest service, operational accuracy, and support for overnight operations.

Previous experience in a Reception or similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry;
Fluency in Portuguese and English (additional languages will be highly valued);
Strong intercultural awareness and ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds;
Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence;
Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
High level of attention to detail and operational accuracy;
Strong active listening skills and empathy;
Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and time-management skills;
Ability to handle complaints and resolve conflicts professionally;
Responsible, proactive, and capable of working independently;
Availability to work night shifts;
Valid driving licence;
Resident in the Algarve region;
100% on-site position.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out the daily closing procedures, reviewing all financial transactions, payments, postings, and guest charges;
Verify discrepancies between systems (PMS and POS), reconciling accounts and correcting any errors;
Perform guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift;
Answer telephone calls and respond to emails professionally and courteously;
Handle guest requests, needs, and situations efficiently and proactively;
Provide clear and accurate information regarding QDL Residences services and procedures;
Liaise with different departments to resolve urgent matters;
Prepare documentation, reports, and operational information for the following shift;
Monitor access points and conduct regular security checks to ensure the safety of guests and facilities;
Perform cash handling and reconciliation duties;
Record and document all relevant shift activities and incidents.

Salary: between €1,000 and €1,150 gross per month, plus night shift allowance;
