Receptionist (M/F) - The Magnolia Hotel Department — The Magnolia Hotel


We are looking for a Receptionist (2nd Line) to join the team at The Magnolia HotelThe selected candidate will be responsible for delivering a professional, welcoming and efficient guest experience, from check-in to check-out, as well as supporting reservation management and liaising with the hotel’s various departments.

 

  • Professional experience in a Reception role;
  • Experience in administrative organisation;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English;
  • Knowledge of the Host system (preferred);
  • Availability to work shifts, including weekends;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team;
  • High sense of responsibility, autonomy and proactivity;
  • Strong time management, organisational and planning skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Customer-focused approach with strong attention to detail;
  • Well-groomed and professional presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out guest check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Provide detailed information about available services, local activities and the residences’ amenities.
  • Handle telephone calls and respond to emails with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Resolve complaints or special requests swiftly and effectively.
  • Promote the exclusive services and experiences of the Quinta do Lago Group.
  • Process invoicing and verify guest charges and consumption.
  • Coordinate with the Housekeeping and Maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Manage and process reservations for the hotel, restaurants, golf courses, spas, local events or other leisure activities, when required.
