Quinta do Lago Group is recruiting a Head Bartender (M/F) for Dano’s Restaurant, responsible for delivering an exceptional service to guests and for leading and coordinating all bar operations, ensuring service quality, stock control, and compliance with brand standards.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar roles;
Training in hospitality, catering, or related areas (preferred);
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills;
Customer‑oriented with great attention to detail;
User‑level knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Knowledge of HACCP and best practices in hygiene and safety;
Team spirit and proactivity;
Strong problem‑solving skills;
In‑depth knowledge of cocktails, liqueurs and wines;
Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Key Responsibilities
Organise, coordinate, and supervise all daily bar operations;
Record and manage attendance and absences of the bar team;
Allocate tasks and shifts among the team, defining individual responsibilities;
Control inventory and ensure the availability of equipment and service materials;
Monitor and participate in the cleaning and organisation of the bar and its utensils;
Train new bartenders in drink preparation and in the correct use of records to support sales tracking and maintain accurate stock and inventory documentation;
Serve and attend to customers directly;
Monitor work tasks and the performance of other bartenders;
Gather customer feedback and handle suggestions or complaints;
Create beverages and other food items, considering the relevant preparation and composition processes;
Ensure that drinks for customers are prepared and served in accordance with company standards;
Encourage skills development and motivation within the team;
Consistently supervise cash and stock control in line with company policy.
