Grill Chef (M/F) - Casa do Lago Department — F&B - Food and Beverage


Casa do Lago is looking for a Grill Chef with a passion for cooking and service excellence to join our kitchen team

 

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Grill Chef or in a similar role.
    • Solid technical knowledge of grilling techniques and cooking points.
    • Knowledge of English.
    • Ability to work as part of a team.
    • Punctuality and reliability.
    • Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
    • Dynamic, proactive attitude.
    • Ability to work well under pressure.
    • Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

 

Key Responsibilities

    • Preparation and cooking of dishes and other grilled products, ensuring quality, flavour and presentation.
    • Independent management of the grill section during service.
    • Receiving, storage and proper conservation of products required for food preparation.
    • Execution of culinary operations.
    • Plating of dishes.
    • Organisation of mise‑en‑place and waste control.
    • Strict compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
    • Proper care and maintenance of equipment, machines and material resources.
