Casa do Lago is looking for a Grill Chef with a passion for cooking and service excellence to join our kitchen team
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Grill Chef or in a similar role.
- Solid technical knowledge of grilling techniques and cooking points.
- Knowledge of English.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
- Dynamic, proactive attitude.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and cooking of dishes and other grilled products, ensuring quality, flavour and presentation.
- Independent management of the grill section during service.
- Receiving, storage and proper conservation of products required for food preparation.
- Execution of culinary operations.
- Plating of dishes.
- Organisation of mise‑en‑place and waste control.
- Strict compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
- Proper care and maintenance of equipment, machines and material resources.
