From 20th to 22nd August 2026, the Paul McGinley Junior Cup welcomes talented junior golfers with an official handicap to Quinta do Lago for three unforgettable days of golf, competition, and experience on one of Europe’s most prestigious golfing stages.
Hosted by Paul McGinley and played on the iconic South Course, this tournament is designed for ambitious young players ready to test their game in a truly world-class setting. From focused practice rounds to two exciting days of tournament play, every moment is built around challenge, confidence, and the thrill of competing where great golf stories are made.

Eligibility:
For players affiliated with the Portuguese Golf Federation (FPG), the Handicap Index available on the FPG server will be used.
Players affiliated with other federations must present a valid Handicap Certificate.
It is the responsibility of each player to ensure their Handicap Index is fully updated before the tournament.
