Senior Accounting Technician (M/F)

The Quinta do Lago Group is currently recruiting candidates for the position of Senior Accounting Technician (M/F), to carry out tasks within their area of expertise
Solid experience in the role or similar positions, preferably in the hospitality/tourism sector;
Higher Education – Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Studies, Management, or Business Administration;
Certified Accountant;
Knowledge of PHC Management Software (preferred);
Good level of knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Good command of English;
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, responsibility, dynamism, resilience, good level of communication and teamwork abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Organize and classify accounting documents;
Ensure all documents are properly registered in accordance with the Accounting Standardization System (SNC);
Post all financial transactions in the management software, ensuring each entry is accurate and compliant with accounting standards;
Management of current accounts;
Moniter accounts, analyse balances, and perform reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy;
Performe bank reconciliations;
Prepare financial reports;
Produce financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, provide essential information for strategic decision-making by company management;
Ensure the company meets all its tax obligations, including preparation and submission of tax returns within established deadlines;
Work closely with the group’s certified accountant, providing all necessary information and assisting in financial analysis and management;
Support the consolidation of the Group’s accounts.
