The Quinta do Lago Group is recruiting candidates for the position of Marketing & Social Media Executive (M/F).
We are seeking a creative, forward-thinking, and organised Marketing & Social Media Executive to join our team. In this position, you will interact with targeted virtual communities and network users to promote our resort and its services, provide customer care services to our audience, and be the voice of the company. You must be able to create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, be proactive, as well as act quickly and gracefully to resolve any customer complaints or criticisms posted on social media.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, photography/video or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience and passion for social media, digital, and general marketing.
Proficiency with social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Tripadvisor, Google, & Pinterest.
Knowledge of project management.
Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
Excellent photography and videography skills
Video editing and content creation for social media
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
Key Responsibilities
Build and execute social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
Write and schedule online content through social network management platforms, such as Swonkie.
Assist with crisis management, bad reviews, messages, and comments.
Create, edit, publish, and share content daily (original text, images, video, and HTML), including live coverage for events.
Create connections and engage community members through effective community management practices
Maintain company social media pages and profiles.
Create and implement a social media marketing plan and editorial calendar.
Track and analyse analytics reports to gain insight into traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilise this information to positively affect future outcomes, and provide monthly reports.
Collaborate with other departments to manage the company's reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach.
Develop and execute influencer marketing campaigns.
Knowledge of both organic and paid social media campaigns
Support the marketing team in implementing effective marketing campaigns for different brands, aligned with business objectives. This may include campaigns for events, product launches, brand promotion, or entering new markets.
