We are recruiting: Project Manager – Q. Landscape

We are seeking a dynamic, organised, and highly responsible professional with strong attention to detail to join our Q. Landscape Gardening Team.

This role plays a vital part in the success of our projects, ensuring the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of outdoor spaces that reflect the quality and excellence for which Quinta do Lago is renowned.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or Landscape Architecture
Proven experience in a similar role
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken
Sound knowledge of construction materials and techniques
Good understanding of ornamental plants and irrigation systems
Strong organisational, leadership, time management, and conflict resolution skills
Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
Dynamic, proactive, punctual, and reliable
Driver's licence

Key Responsibilities

Analyse landscape architecture projects, specifications, technical descriptions and budgets
Define and procure the materials, labour, machinery and plants required for garden construction
Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and external partners (builders, architects, engineers, interior designers, etc.)
Create work schedules and monitor progress against the plan, adjusting timelines when necessary to prevent delays and additional costs
Follow legalisation processes or matters related to land‑use concessions
Support the construction supervisor in coordinating teams, allocating tasks and organising daily site activities
Oversee the reception, storage and use of materials, plants and machinery, ensuring proper handling and maintenance
Manage stock levels of materials and plants
Prepare monthly measurement reports
Ensure garden construction complies with technical specifications and the agreed design, acting as a link between the landscape architect and the construction supervisor
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site
Keep the client informed of project progress and any potential changes to the original plan
Conduct the final inspection with the landscape architect, ensuring the garden is ready for handover to the client
