As part of our continued growth, we are looking to strengthen our Resort Housekeeping Team with motivated, reliable and detail-oriented professionals who are committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest comfort.

As an Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our outlets and public areas consistently reflect the quality and excellence that define the Quinta do Lago experience. Through your dedication and attention to detail, you will contribute directly to creating memorable stays for our guests.

 

Candidate Profile

    • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Good organisational and time management skills.
    • Problem-solving ability.
    • Strong sense of responsibility, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently.
    • Basic knowledge of professional cleaning products and techniques.
    • Availability to work rotational shifts and weekends.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out the daily cleaning of public areas, sanitary facilities, corridors, offices, and technical areas.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitisation duties across the resort’s various outlets, including restaurants, bars, retail shops, gyms, and staff areas.
  • Operate mechanised cleaning equipment.
  • Replenish consumables and hygiene supplies (paper products, soap, disinfectant, etc.) as required.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and products.
  • Identify and report faults, damage, or maintenance requirements to the relevant teams and supervisors.
  • Comply with internal health, safety, and hygiene procedures and standards.
  • Collaborate with other operational teams to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with inventory management and the ordering of supplies in coordination with supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and cleaning activities.
