Job summary
The Quinta do Lago Group is currently seeking Gardeners (M/F) to join the Q-Landscape Department, responsible for the maintenance and construction of landscaped areas.
Candidate Profile
Previous experience in gardening or green space maintenance.
Knowledge of botany, cultivation techniques, and plant care.
Ability to operate gardening tools and machinery.
Good physical condition and stamina for outdoor work.
Sense of responsibility, autonomy, and attention to detail.
Relevant training or qualifications (preferred but not mandatory).
Key Responsibilities
Perform planting, pruning, irrigation, fertilisation, and pest control tasks.
Maintain lawns, shrubs, trees, and flowers in optimal condition.
Operate and maintain gardening equipment (e.g. lawnmowers, chainsaws, irrigation systems).
Prepare soil and carry out plant transplanting.
Identify and treat plant diseases and pests.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of green spaces.
Collaborate in the design and implementation of landscaping projects.
Comply with safety and environmental regulations during all activities.
