Q. Landscape, a company within the Quinta do Lago Group, is responsible for the maintenance and development of the green spaces of one of Europe’s most prestigious resorts. Our gardens reflect a continuous commitment to sustainability, landscape quality and operational excellence.
As part of our growth, we are looking to recruit a Garden Maintenance Supervisor to lead on-site teams, ensuring high standards of quality, organisation and environmental preservation across all Quinta do Lago green areas.
Proven professional experience in garden and green space maintenance
Previous experience in team supervision or coordination (preferred)
Training in gardening, landscaping or a related field (valued)
Solid knowledge of ornamental plants, lawns, irrigation systems and maintenance practices
Knowledge of environmental best practices and sustainability
Strong leadership, organisational and team management skills
Good planning skills, with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy and proactivity
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driving licence (mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate gardening teams on site
Plan and monitor daily garden and green space maintenance tasks
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with defined quality standards
Monitor the plant health of gardens, lawns and trees
Ensure the correct use, maintenance and conservation of equipment and machinery
Support the implementation and monitoring of irrigation systems
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene and environmental regulations
Report needs, incidents and improvement opportunities to Q. Landscape management
Collaborate in the implementation of landscaping projects and continuous improvement initiatives
