We are currently recruiting for the position of Accounting Technician (M/F).

Solid experience in the role, or in similar positions, preferably within the hospitality and tourism industry;
Higher Education qualification – Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Studies, Management, or Business Administration;
Certified Accountant (preferred but not essential);
Knowledge of PHC Management Software (preferred);
Good user-level knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Good command of English;
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a responsible, proactive and resilient approach, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Organise and classify accounting documentation;
Ensure all documents are properly recorded in accordance with the Portuguese Accounting Standards System (SNC);
Record all financial transactions in the company’s management software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards;
Manage accounts receivable and payable ledgers;
Monitor accounts, analyse balances, and perform reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial information;
Carry out bank reconciliations;
Prepare financial reports and management information;
Produce financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss accounts, providing key information to support strategic decision-making;
Ensure compliance with all tax obligations, including the preparation and submission of tax returns within the required deadlines;
Work closely with the Group’s Certified Accountant, providing all necessary information and support in the analysis and financial management of the Group;
Assist in the consolidation of the Group’s accounts.
