Events Operations (M/F) Department — Eventos


The Events Operative is responsible for supporting the coordination and operationalisation of the Quinta do Lago group's events in its different areas: weddings, meetings, events, sporting events, internal human resources events, among others.

  • Events management experience
  • Knowledgeable on leisure hospitality
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good time management, organization and planning skills
  • Aptitude to prioritize and multitask simultaneous projects
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Flexibility of working hours
  • Customer and detail oriented
  • Autonomy, proactivity, dynamism and commitment
  • Good presentation and personal care
  • Proficient computer skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all details of events
  • Calculate budgets and ensure they are adhered to
  • Book talent, including musicians, bands, and DJs
  • Visit venue to plan layout of seating and decorations
  • Schedule speakers, vendors, and participants
  • Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
  • Negotiate and secure event space
  • Secure sponsorships
  • Manage correspondence
  • Coordinate event logistics, including registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support and pre- and post-event evaluations.
  • Keep inventory of backdrops, projectors, computers, and other display materials.
