Alarm and CCTV Systems Technician (M/F) Department — Vigiquinta

The Quinta do Lago Group is recruiting candidates for the position of Alarm and CCTV Systems Technician (M/F) for the Technical Department, Vigiquinta – Prevention and Security Ltd.

- Basic knowledge of CCTV systems

- Basic knowledge of computer networks

- General knowledge of electricity

- Driver's license (required)

- Intermediate knowledge of the English language

- Good communication, team spirit, responsibility and assiduity

- Installation and programming of intrusion alarm systems and video surveillance cameras;

- Assess the location to determine strategic points for camera installation;

- Design the CCTV system layout based on the client's security needs;

- Select the type and quantity of cameras, DVR/NVR, and other necessary equipment;

- Assemble and install security cameras in designated locations;

- Install DVRs/NVRs, monitors, and other recording and display devices;

- Run and connect power and data cables, ensuring they are properly protected and organized;

- Configure cameras to optimize image quality and field of view;

- Program DVRs/NVRs for recording, playback, and backup;

- Integrate the CCTV system with other security technologies, if necessary (for example, alarms, access control);

- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of the system.
