Wild Owl Release - June

at South Golf Course

Join us at the South Course 1st tee, near the golf clubhouse, to watch the release of two Tawny Owls back into the wild. The birds were rescued at the beginning of April by the Wildlife Research and Rehabilitation Center (RIAS), having fallen from the nest. After months of care, the owls are strong enough to return to their natural habitat and fly free in the Algarve once more. Part of our commitment to sustainability, Quinta do Lago is proud to work with environmental associations such as Vita Nativa and RIAS and welcome the return of two very special birds.
